Carr Properties Celebrates “Topping Out” of 4500 East West Highway

(JANUARY 31, 2014 – BETHESDA, MD.) – Carr Properties announced 4500 East West Highway hosted its Topping Out Celebration today. Executives and employees from the developer, leasing team, Transwestern, and builder, Clark Construction, donned hard hats to celebrate on the ground floor of the building, which is still under construction. Construction workers joined the guests in enjoying a catered buffet and speeches from company officials.

The nine-story building’s distinctive architecture continues throughout the interiors, where light-filled spaces, premium fixtures and materials, and crisp details clearly articulate the trophy quality of this singular property.

Amenities of 4500 East West include a 4,500-square-foot rooftop terrace with lush landscaping, a variety of covered and open air seating areas, a catering kitchen and panoramic views overlooking Bethesda and extending toward northwest Washington, D.C. The building features more than 13,000 square feet of street-level retail set above four levels of below-grade parking.

Transwestern’s Phillip McCarthy, Keith Foery and Jovi McAndrew are the leasing agents for this project. Construction is expected to conclude in the summer of 2014 and the building had its groundbreaking ceremony in November of 2012.
