A Message to Our Customers

Over the last few months, we have seen the world take numerous measures in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. The COVID-19 outbreak continues to test our businesses, lifestyle and routines.  For many of our customers, that has meant closing the physical location of their business, and for other customers, it has meant closing the doors of their business completely for an extended period of time.

We are closely monitoring all new developments and have compiled the following COVID-19 resources, for reference purposes only. We will continue to update this page with helpful materials and resources. If you have any resource questions, please contact our team via email, customersupport@carrprop.com.

[10/1/2020 // Portfolio-Wide] As we continue to navigate the new workplace experience amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented new operational changes and safety enhancements within our buildings. These changes and safety enhancements help us ensure a healthy and technologically advanced building environment, aimed at allowing our customers to safely enter the office with a hands-free experience.

Our new safety enhancements include:

  • Wave Technology at Main Entrances: Providing secure and touchless building entry. Simply scan your fob and “wave” your hand.
  • Lobby & Garage Thermal Scanning: These thermal cameras provide a touchless measurement of each individual’s body temperature, as well as detecting any individuals who fail to wear a face mask. Lobby scanning stations are staffed with a healthcare professional (Monday – Friday) to assist and provide follow up, manual screenings for any temperatures above CDC guidelines.

*Please note, all processes and data are handled with customer privacy and anonymity in mind.

Additional touchless initiatives are under evaluation and will be coming soon to your building, which may include:

  • Touchless Visitor Check-In Experience
  • Touchless Air Gate and Door Access from Mobile Device
  • Touchless Elevator System

A Fresh Take on Indoor Air Quality:

In addition to providing touchless paths of travel throughout our properties, we are also committed to providing our customers with premium indoor air quality. To date, we have upgraded all air filtration to MERV 13 rated systems. Coming soon, we will also be installing Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) light fixtures in all of our building’s air handling units, providing additional protection against airborne bacteria and viruses.

Lastly, our teams will be installing air quality and particle counting sensors in our buildings, which will measure room temperatures, humidity, light, CO2, O2, Formaldehydes, total volatile organic compounds, and air impurities. The data collected through these sensors will be sent to Carr Properties’ internal analytics dashboard, used to monitor and enhance the building’s wellness experience.

[07/28/2020 // Portfolio-Wide] As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to place the safety of our customers, guests, service providers, and colleagues as our top priority.  As part of our response protocols, the implementation of building temperature screenings will begin in August. Your property management team will communicate your building’s exact start date with you via email. For more information, click here.

The Federal Government, as well as State and Local Governments, have passed legislation to create programs that offer assistance and support to businesses across the country.  These new programs are rolling out through various agency outlets.  Many of these new programs have opened their application process already, while others are still coming online.  We encourage you to research what makes the most sense for your business, speak with your financial and tax advisors about these programs and the benefits they can have on your company prior to applying. We also encourage you to apply for these programs as early as possible, as many of these programs  have application deadlines and others will be backlogged after the initial wave of applications are submitted.
