The 5th Annual Carr Cares Benefit Concert Raises Over $400,000 for WJA & WSG

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, Carr hosted the 5th annual Carr Cares Benefit Concert at The Hamilton Live, raising over $400,000 for the Washington Jesuit Academy and Washington School for Girls. The Carr Cares Benefit Concert began in 2018 as a way for Carr to give back to the community. Since its inception, the Carr Cares Benefit Concert has raised over one million dollars for local Washington, DC students in need. The Washington Jesuit Academy has been our beneficiary since 2018, but as we’ve exceeded our fundraising goals each year, we decided to increase our impact in 2023 and introduced the Washington School for Girls as an additional beneficiary.

In addition to the Carr Cares Benefit Concert, Carr partners with the Washington Jesuit Academy and Washington School for Girls throughout the year to support their students and staff. In December, our DC-area properties will host a holiday toy drive for each school. In addition, WJA and WSG students will take a field trip to our newest DC development, Signal House, to learn about the different job opportunities available in the commercial real estate industry.
